Silencers type ГП are designed to reduce turbulent and aerodynamic noise generated by fans, air conditioners, air control devices, as well as noise arising in the elements of the ventilation network and propagating through the air ducts. In conditions where the requirements for the noise level are particularly high, two noise silencers of the type ГП can be used at once. For the most effective reduction of the noise level, it is recommended to provide a straight section with a length of 1 meter in front of the silencers.

Plate-type noise silencers are made of galvanized steel sheet and are used for large air ducts. Silencers consist of a casing inside which sound-absorbing plates are installed, fixed by means of guides parallel to the direction of the air flow at a certain distance from each other. To reduce resistance, fairings are installed on the sound-absorbing plates. Silencers can be operated at temperatures of the working medium from -40 ° C to +45 ° C. The environment and the cleaned air must not contain aggressive gases and vapors. Silencers are manufactured in climatic versions for operation in areas with moderate У (moderate) и УХЛ (boreal) climates and location categories 2; 3; 4 in accordance with GOST 15150.
