Ventilation shafts are designed for mechanical and natural ventilation systems of buildings for general premises. They are used to install round steel shafts on them through the roofs of buildings in air exhaust ventilation systems.

The ventilation shaft assembly consists of a pipe welded to the support flange, with which the passage assembly is attached to a reinforced concrete glass installed on the roofs of buildings. The end flanges of the branch pipe are designed: the upper one for fastening a round shaft, the lower one for connecting a damper or an air duct. In cases where moisture can fall out of the air-gas mixture passing through the shaft, a condensate collector is welded to the inner surface of the pipe, a ring forming a trough for collecting moisture flowing down the walls of the pipe. The removal of moisture from the condensate collector is carried out through a pipe connected to a coupling with a pipe thread welded to the pipe. The version with a manual drive is recommended for use in cases of stable operation that does not require frequent switching. With manual drive, control is performed from the building cover. In other cases, it is recommended to install valves with an actuator and remote or automatic control. The nodes of the passage of the following versions are provided: УП1 – ventilation shaft unit without a valve and a ring for collecting condensate; УП2- ventilation shaft unit with a manually operated valve without a condensate collection ring and with a condensate collection ring; УП3- a ventilation shaft unit with a valve controlled by an actuator, without a condensate collection ring and with a condensate collection ring. Modifications of УП4, УП5, УП6 and УП7 can be made at the request of the consumer. The passage units can be operated at temperatures of the working environment from -60 ° С to +45 ° С. The environment and air must not contain aggressive gases and vapors that destroy materials and paint coatings of the product. The passage nodes are manufactured in climatic versions for operation in areas with moderate У (moderate) и УХЛ (boreal) climates and location category 1 in accordance with GOST 15150.
