The KOPv valve design consists of a body, inside which a blade is installed on the axle shafts. The axis of rotation of the blade is displaced relative to the axis of symmetry, due to which, when exposed to the air flow, a moment arises that turns the blade and sets the valve to the open position. When the air movement stops, the blade returns to its original position with the help of the counterbalancing lever with the weight, thus closing the valve.
Explosion-proof check valves are intended for rooms belonging to classes V-1, V-1A, V-1B according to the PUE classification, in the ventilation systems of which explosive mixtures of all categories and groups are transported according to the classification of GOST 12.1.01.

KOPv dampers can be installed both vertically at an air speed of at least 4 m / s, and in a horizontal section of the air duct at an air speed of at least 6 m / s.
Explosion-proof check valves can be operated at temperatures of the working environment from -40 ° C to + 45 ° C.
The environment and air must not contain aggressive gases and vapors that destroy the materials of the product.
Explosion-proof check valves are manufactured in climatic versions for operation in areas with moderate U and UHL climates and location categories 1, 2, 3 and 4 according to GOST 15150.
