The rotary deflector is designed to increase the drawing in the duct and increase the rate of air exchange in industrial and civil buildings in systems with natural exhaust ventilation, and also prevents the penetration of atmospheric precipitation, birds into the ventilation and chimney ducts. It provides effective protection of the internal space of the roof against condensate formation and reduces the temperature.

The movement of the rotary deflector is based on the effect of the Bernoulli formula: the higher the air flow speed when changing the canal section, the lower the static pressure in this cross-section. Rotating from the speed of the air flow, the rotary deflector creates a zone of reduced pressure in the ventilation duct, as a result, the air flow in the ventilation ducts increases, preventing the formation of backdraft and increasing the efficiency of the ventilation system. The efficiency of the rotary deflector in relation to the conventional deflector is 2-4 times higher.

The rotary deflector is a globe-shaped rotary aerodynamic device. It is manufactured from galvanized steel or stainless steel plate. The rotary deflector consists of a bearing system, profile-shaped blades, housing, stiffeners. Available in flanged or nipple modifications. It is installed at the entrance of exhaust ventilation pipes or shafts. The deflector rotates in one direction regardless of the direction and speed of the wind flow.

The deflector can be operated at temperatures of the working medium from -40°C to +60°C.

The environment and air must not contain aggressive gases and vapors that destroy materials and coatings of the product.

The deflector is manufactured in climatic design O and location category 1 in accordance with GOST 15150. The deflector can be manufactured in both standard and optional sizes, at the request of the Customer. The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes in the design of the product, without affecting the basic technical and functional parameters.
