The fan is designed to blow in order to cool the DC electric motor the type DPB with a power of 560-1000 kW, designed to drive the main mechanism of the drilling installation (rig).

The fans have a spiral casing in the form of a snail and an impeller with 32 forward-curved blades, equipped with a three-phase electric motor. The direction of rotation of the impeller is to right or left side. The fan is used to handle air that does not contain sticky and aggressive substances, abrasive dust and fibrous materials with a dust content of no more than 0.1 g / m³. The fan can be operated at temperatures of the working environment from -40° C to +40° C. The fan is manufactured in climatic versions for operation in areas with moderate У (moderate) and УХЛ (boreal) climate and location category 2 in accordance with GOST 15150.
